“We discovered that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being.”
We are now in the second month of school. The classrooms are almost normalized and running smoothly. As you walk through the hallways you can hear the welcoming buzz coming from each classroom and as you look in the door you see a jigsaw puzzle of children and Montessori materials purposely engaged.
The children have also been working very hard on their art projects for the Original Works Fundraiser. The artwork will be sent home at the beginning of next week for the parents to place orders for an original product decorated with their child’s artwork….these make great gifts for the holiday season.
As we prepare for October 31st, the Early Childhood and Kindergarten children have been practicing their songs and talking about the parade to the Valley View Senior Villas, while the Elementary have been researching their historical figure and putting their time line together for the Historical Halloween presentation. Parents are welcome to join us for all of the festivities.
